Intake Procedures

Thank you for helping us pass quality children’s items from one family to another. Please prepare your items before dropping them off so we can review them efficiently.

What We Buy

Clothing: newborn through youth sizes 14/16. We accept all seasons.
Shoes: newborn through youth size 7.
Baby essentials: clean, gently loved items such as bibs, burp cloths, swaddles, and receiving blankets.
Baby equipment: selected strollers, high chairs, bouncers, activity seats, and other complete, working gear. Please call ahead about large items.
Unopened essentials: diapers, pull-ups, and wipes in their original unopened packages.

Clothing Preparation

Freshly launder all clothing before bringing it in.
Check for stains, holes, rips, excessive wear, and loose threads.
Items must be free of pet hair, smoke, and unpleasant odors.
Fasten buttons, snaps, and zippers.
Keep matching outfits and sets together, with coordinating pieces placed one on top of the other.
Place items neatly in your containers so they stay organized during review.

Shoes, Baby Essentials & Equipment

Clean shoes thoroughly, including the soles, and keep pairs together.
Wipe down equipment and check that it works properly.
Include every required part, attachment, and working battery.
Items must be clean, complete, and free from damage and recalls.
Diapers, pull-ups, wipes, and other disposable essentials must be unopened.

Containers & Drop-Off

Bring no more than two flat-bottom containers, such as firm boxes, baskets, or totes. No plastic or trash bags.

Drop off during open store hours and complete the intake form at the drop-off counter. For larger baby items, call 567-215-0199 first so we can check space.

How Review & Payment Work

We review your items. Selection is based on condition, customer preferences, and what our shop can use.
We contact you with an offer. Accepted items receive 40% of our selling price in cash or store credit, your choice.
You accept the offer. Once you consent and processing begins, accepted items become Clover Kids property and cannot be returned.
Collect items we cannot purchase. These are called “No Thank Yous” or “NTYs.” Please collect them within 2 days; unclaimed items become store property to use or donate.

Please allow up to 24 hours for the initial review. If you have not heard from us within 2 business days, call to check that we have your correct phone number.

Items We Cannot Accept

We cannot accept dirty, damaged, incomplete, recalled, or strongly scented items. We do not buy car seats, cribs, mattresses, baby food, formula, used underwear, or used socks. Underwear and socks must be new in an unopened package.
